First of all, our courses are very interesting and practical, including Economics, Finance, Management, International Law and other aspects. I found the program insightful and helpful, as I was able to dip toes in water on various professional areas. The basic theories that these courses showed us were structural enough to draw us a big picture. When we encounter problems at work or in the future career, I am very confident that I will be able to utilize the big pictures to quickly identify opportunities or to solve problems.
Second, our learning model is also very effective. We are not just boringly learning theories. Professors are usually accustomed to divide each course into two; half of the time to study the theory, half of the time will give us various interesting group projects and activities, letting us think and practice in the real-world setting.
Finally, I would like to say that I am very happy to study with these knowledgeable and interesting professors from different countries. They are professional, bringing us the broadest international perspectives with their rich overseas study and work experience. They are happy to discuss with us and are good at encouraging us to realize our potential. As a young adult, I think it is a fantastic experience to have met caring mentors like the above-mentioned at this age.
The economics department is very good. Our coordinators were always ready to help, took their time and positively influenced our semester abroad. As far as free time is concerned, you never have to be bored in Moscow. In any case, I can say that it was one of the best semesters!
I am very happy that I could spend one term at MSU. Because of the Corona Crisis, most things did not at all go as planned, but everyone at MSU went out of their way to make the best out of it. Students come from all over the world, and you’ll make interesting new acquaintances and friends that make your stay what it is.
