May 15 - Bus tour to Serpukhov

Serpukhov has a glorious centuries-old history, the starting point of which is 1339. It became famous as a fortress city, a reliable southern outpost of the Moscow principality, standing on the Nara River. As part of our tour, international students of Lomonosov MSU visited the remains of the ancient Serpukhov Kremlin, the Trinity Church, the Vysotsky Monastery, and just walked along the streets of the old city. In the afternoon they visited the Serpukhov Museum of History and Art and took a walk along the banks of the Oka.
