During the event, students got acquainted with the Easter traditions of different countries, tasted Easter cakes and national Russian sweets, and painted holiday eggs according to a long-standing Russian tradition.
International students from Poland, Germany, Italy and Turkey came to join this event. They listened eagerly to a lecture prepared by the activists of the committee on the traditions of celebrating Easter in Russia. During the tea party, the students discussed the customs of this day in other countries. Foreigners were especially pleased with the opportunity to get acquainted with Russian traditions in practice: they tried Easter cakes and painted chicken eggs in their own way. The evening was spent in a cheerful, friendly atmosphere, and a lot of vivid photos were taken to remain as keepsakes, that will keep memories of this day for a long time!
